Well, it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything here, much less even looked at it. I'm not feeling as inspired as I once was; I guess life gets in the way. However, now that I'm expecting our first baby (a boy!), I thought it may be a good time to re-connect with friends and family. Hopefully I'll be able to keep this regularly updated. I find the backgrounds Blogger offers are somewhat boring...and I don't know how to choose my own. It's almost like decorating a room~ I want it to be just right, and if I don't like the way it looks, I may not visit it very often. So, if you know how to customize the blog, please let me know. I have added some pictures of prengant me :) as requested by family and friends. Don't know why they don't just come visit :)
I have been studying the book of Job with a friend of mine. I never was really into that book...it has always seemed difficult and irrelevant to me. Therefore, I have been pleasantly suprised at how much I have enjoyed the book! I think what I've learned the most is that you can tell God exactly how you feel, no matter how you feel; but always acknowledge that in the end, He is Sovereign and in that knowledge lies hope. One discovers throughout the book of Job that there are usually no definite answers to the tough questions in life. There is only One Answer. A realtionship with God is the only way to make any sense out of what happens down here. Outside of that relationship, there will never be a sufficient answer to those questions.
So, here's looking forward to the next 11 1/2 weeks!! What a melting pot of emotions!
